A lot has happened since I last posted. Not much really has happened since then, except that my ankle is doing a lot better. Still feel a sort of tightness in much muscle and I cannot turn my ankle in certain ways. Had to work from home almost all week up until I finally had an opportunity to work with a client. It was a little embarrassing walking in with a boot for two days’ and painful, but I was not going to give up work because of a sprained ankle.
The hilarious thing is that after a week of not being in the office I was fully prepared to go to work last Monday. However, I had felt a little off that morning and it had compelled me to take a covid test. Now why did I think I had covid, well it’s since my younger sister had tested positive that same weekend. I try my best to be safe, but when it comes to my family, I just didn’t expect to get sick from one of them. Anyways, that morning I took a test fully thinking that it would be negative and was surprised that it wasn’t. I was in so much shock when those two lines appeared so much that I scheduled an appointment with actual doctors that can test me and fully make sure.
It did not even take my body an hour after that appointment to start crashing. I was down for the count. I had tried working from home for a few hours up until I just couldn’t, I had to crawl under my covers and sleep. The first few days were rough, up until Thursday when I started feeling a little better. That did not change the fact that I was still positive and here I am Monday again, still positive.
I think the worst part of this is the fact that being cooped up in my room has not been great on me mentally. However, that must be on a different post, I need to start taking my meds again before I rant about my emotions. Covid brain had me forgetting to take them as well as when I was, I would throw it up.
Hopefully, sooner than later I will be feeling better since next week I start school and I’m not too excited about that. I haven’t stepped foot on campus since I transferred there, covid had almost all the classes online and now they don’t even offer it.
